Get your shrimp ready for a hot date with Charlie's Saucery! Marinate those little guys in our hot sauce, then grill until they're sizzling and begging to be your plus one at the appetizer table.

Spicy Shrimp Skewers:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup Charlie's Saucery Hot Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for desired heat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Shrimp: In a bowl, combine Charlie's Saucery Hot Sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, honey, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.

  2. Prepare the Shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If you're using a stovetop grill pan, make sure it's well-heated.

  4. Skewer the Shrimp: Thread the marinated shrimp onto the soaked wooden skewers, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

  5. Grill the Skewers: Place the shrimp skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, and they develop a slight char.

  6. Baste with Marinade: During the last minute of grilling, baste the shrimp with the remaining marinade using a brush, adding an extra layer of flavor.

  7. Serve Hot: Remove the skewers from the grill and place them on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro or parsley if desired. Serve immediately, and watch as these spicy shrimp skewers disappear in no time!

Feel free to adjust the level of heat by modifying the amount of cayenne pepper in the marinade. Enjoy the bold and spicy flavors of Charlie's Saucery in every mouthwatering bite!
